The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said in a post on his X page that threats against Iran would only strengthen national unity, warning against what he described as attempts to undermine the country.

He said the idea of “erasing Iran from the map” reflects desperation in the face of what he called a resilient nation, adding that threats and acts of violence would further consolidate internal unity.

Pezeshkian also stated that the Strait of Hormuz remains open to all countries except those that violate Iran’s sovereignty, amid ongoing regional tensions.

He added that Iran would firmly respond to what he described as “delirious threats” on the battlefield.

The remarks come as tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate, raising concerns over regional stability and the security of global energy routes.
