The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the official ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been manufactured in Pakistan.
In a post on X, Sharif said Pakistan is contributing to the
global sporting event through its well-established sports goods industry,
adding that producing the official match ball reflects the skill and capability
of the country’s manufacturers.
The ball, named “Trionda,” features red, blue, and green colors
and includes design elements representing the three host countries: Canada, the
United States, and Mexico.
Meanwhile, the opening match of the tournament was played
between Mexico and South Africa, with Mexico securing a victory.
