Afghanistan's Taliban authorities have established faculties of air radar and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems within the country's higher education system for the first time.
The Taliban-run Ministry of Higher Education said the
decision was approved at a meeting of the Higher Education Council. Ministry
spokesman Hafiz Ziaullah Hashimi said the meeting also authorized the
establishment of 24 new faculties and 29 departments at public and private universities.
