The Kabul Tribune (KT) - Iran has sent a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres warning that in the event of a US attack, it would target US bases, facilities, and assets in the region.
In the letter, Iran’s permanent mission to the UN said any US attack would receive a strong and decisive response.
Iran added that US President Donald Trump’s statements “indicate a real risk of aggression.”
Meanwhile, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed US officials, Trump is reportedly considering a limited airstrike against Iran to pressure the country into reaching an agreement in ongoing negotiations.
