The Kabul Tribune (KT) - Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Defense Minister of the Taliban administration, said in an interview with TOLOnews that if Kabul is attacked, Islamabad should also be targeted.
In the interview, Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid added that the Taliban do not want war, but if the conflict is imposed, they are prepared for a long-term fight.
He stated: “If they prolong the war for ten years, we are ready to fight for ten years as well and we have no fear.”
The Taliban official also claimed that in response to the killing of one Taliban fighter, they inflicted significant casualties on the Pakistani side.
