The Kabul Tribune (KT) — At least three people were killed and 23 others injured in a series of traffic accidents in Logar Province during the Eid al-Fitr holidays, Taliban officials said.
The Taliban’s police command in Logar reported that 20
traffic incidents occurred across the province during the holiday period.
Police spokesperson Ahmadullah Anas said most of the
accidents took place on the Logar–Kabul and Logar–Paktia highways, mainly due
to speeding, reckless driving, and failure to follow traffic rules.
Local traffic authorities have urged drivers to exercise
caution and comply with traffic regulations to prevent similar incidents.
