The Kabul Tribune (KT) - Local Taliban officials in Helmand say that three people died when the roof of a house collapsed in the Sangin district.
The provincial Department of Information and Culture said the incident occurred last night due to heavy rains.
Six other people were injured and taken to the district’s main hospital.
Officials noted that similar incidents happen frequently in various provinces across the country, often caused by poorly constructed homes that cannot withstand harsh weather.
