The Kabul Tribune (KT) - More than 400 Afghan migrants have been released from Pakistani prisons and returned to Afghanistan on Thursday, March 26, the Taliban’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said.

The ministry stated that the individuals had been held for periods ranging from one day to two months.

They were repatriated through the Spin Boldak border crossing in Kandahar.

While the exact reasons for their detention were not specified, many Afghan migrants in Pakistan are often arrested for lacking legal residency documents.
