The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The Taliban’s Directorate of Information and Culture in Nangarhar Province said the Torkham Border Crossing has been reopened for Afghan refugees.
Quraishi Badlon, the director of information at the
department, said the crossing is now operational for the movement of Afghan
migrants.
According to the statement, the route has been designated
exclusively for Afghan returnees to ensure their orderly and safe transit.
Officials had earlier announced that the border gate would
reopen based on a scheduled timeframe.
