The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The Embassy of Qatar in Kabul said in a statement on X that it welcomes the release of American citizen Dennis Coyle on humanitarian grounds by the Taliban.
The embassy described the move as a gesture of goodwill by
Afghanistan toward the international community.
It also stated that Qatar is pleased to have been part of
the humanitarian efforts and to have facilitated the release, reaffirming its
support for international initiatives aimed at addressing conflicts and
promoting stability in the region and beyond.
