The Kabul Tribune (KT) - A woman has died and four others, including children, have been injured after the roofs of two houses collapsed due to heavy rainfall in Nangarhar province.
Taliban police spokesperson Said Tayyib Hamad said the incidents occurred in the Ghani Khel and Nazyan districts of Nangarhar, where the roofs of two houses collapsed due to heavy rain, killing one woman and injuring four others.
This comes as rainfall began across several provinces of the country since Saturday, triggering floods in some areas.
Officials from the Taliban’s disaster management authority said on Sunday that 17 people have been killed and 26 others injured across various provinces due to heavy rains and flooding.
