The Kabul Tribune (KT) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there are currently no negotiations taking place between Tehran and Washington, denying claims of any ongoing diplomatic process with the United States.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Araghchi stressed that Iran and the U.S. have not entered any formal talks, and said the idea of a ceasefire has also not been accepted by Tehran.
He added that only limited messages—both direct and indirect—are being exchanged between the two sides, but described them as "warnings" rather than negotiations.
U.S. President Donald Trump had earlier claimed that Washington was close to entering talks with Iran, suggesting diplomatic progress was underway.
