The Kabul Tribune (KT) - The Embassy of Iran in Kabul has called on Afghan doctors to respond to a request by Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, and to speak out against attacks by the United States and Israel on hospitals and pharmaceutical centers.

In a post on X, the embassy said that Pezeshkian had urged the World Health Organization, the International Committee of the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, and medical professionals worldwide to take a clear stance against such attacks.

Pezeshkian emphasized that attacks on medical facilities constitute a “crime against humanity.”

The embassy also called on Afghan doctors to support this appeal.

This comes as the United States and Israel reportedly targeted a research institute known as the Pasteur Institute of Iran.
