The Kabul Tribune (KT) - The Taliban Commission for Addressing Migrant Issues said that 543 migrant families returned to the country from Iran and Pakistan yesterday.
According to the commission’s figures, 417 families entered through the Torkham crossing, 122 families through Spin Boldak, and 4 families through the Islam Qala crossing.
Previously, the United Nations stated that 11% of returnees to Afghanistan have jobs.
This comes as deportations of migrants from Pakistan and Iran have intensified in recent weeks, with large numbers of citizens returning to the country daily.
