The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The Taliban’s Herat provincial office said the distribution of Turkish visas for traders and patients has officially begun in Herat.
In a statement on Wednesday, the office said the development was discussed during a recent visit to Kabul by Sadin Yildiz, who met with Herat Governor Noor Ahmad Islamjar.
According to the statement, both sides held talks on facilitating the visa issuance process, with the Turkish envoy assuring that additional measures would be introduced to ease access for applicants.
The meeting also covered economic relations and cooperation between Afghanistan and Turkey, with both sides emphasizing the need to further strengthen bilateral ties.
