The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Local sources told The Kabul Tribune that unidentified gunmen killed five members of a family in Logar Province.
The incident took place in Pul-e-Alam, the provincial capital, where armed individuals reportedly entered a house overnight and shot dead four people, including a woman, according to sources. One additional family member was also reported killed, bringing the total to five.
The attackers fled the scene, the sources said. Taliban security forces arrived at the location later in the morning to begin an investigation but had not identified any suspects. Only a shawl was reportedly recovered from the house.
According to the sources, the bodies of the victims were transferred by Taliban authorities for further examination.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and no group has claimed responsibility.
