The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment under Taliban administration said that trade agreements worth $210 million have been signed between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

According to the chamber, the agreements were signed on Sunday (May 24) during a business conference held alongside a visit by a 100-member Afghan delegation.

Reports indicate that since the beginning of 2026, dozens of additional trade agreements and memorandums of understanding worth nearly 3 billion Afghanis have also been signed between the two countries.

In recent years, economic and trade relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have expanded, with both sides seeking to increase trade volume, improve transit facilitation, and strengthen regional economic cooperation.
