The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) has expressed its deepest condolences following a deadly vehicle accident involving returning refugees in eastern Afghanistan, the agency said.
In a statement posted on X, UNHCR said the incident resulted
in multiple deaths and injuries, describing it as a tragic event.
The agency said its thoughts are with the affected families
during this difficult time and wished a swift recovery to those injured.
The accident occurred in eastern Afghanistan, where a
vehicle carrying returning refugees was involved in a crash, according to
initial reports.
