The Kabul Tribune (KT) — A man has killed his wife and daughter in a case of domestic violence in eastern Nangarhar province, local Taliban authorities said.
According to a statement released by the Taliban police command in Nangarhar, the incident occurred in the Sheikh Mesri area of Surkhrod district.
The suspect allegedly killed his wife and daughter and also injured his son during the attack, the statement said.
Officials added that the suspect was arrested and later confessed to committing the crime.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident was driven by domestic violence, the Taliban police command stated.
