The Kabul Tribune (KT) — One person was killed and four others injured in a traffic accident in Farah on Monday, Taliban police said.
The incident occurred in the Zaman Kala area of Farah city when two rickshaws collided, according to a statement from the Taliban’s provincial police command.
Officials said the crash was caused by driver negligence.
The injured were transferred to a hospital for treatment, including one woman among the victims.
Traffic accidents have increased in recent months across different provinces of the country, largely due to reckless driving, failure to follow traffic rules and poor road conditions.
