The Kabul Tribune (KT) — One child was killed and two others injured after an unexploded ordnance detonated in Ghazni city, Taliban authorities said.
According to the Ghazni Taliban police command, the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the city’s third police district when children were playing with an unexploded remnant of war.
The blast killed one child at the scene and injured two others, who were later transported to a hospital for treatment.
Earlier this week, similar incidents were reported in Helmand province, where one child was killed and six others injured in two separate explosions involving unexploded ordnance.
