The Kabul Tribune (KT) — At least one person was killed and nine others injured in a traffic accident in Badghis province, Taliban police said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 8 a.m. in the Langar area of Qadis district when a minibus reportedly overturned, according to the Taliban police command in the province.
Authorities said the crash was caused by poor road conditions. The injured were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Road accidents are common in remote parts of Afghanistan, where poor infrastructure and limited adherence to traffic regulations continue to contribute to casualties.
